Truly, I have been skeptical of Drew Karpshyn in the past. The first novel of his I read was the first Mass Effect book, and I felt that was acceptable, but not a great read. Since then I've gone on to the Old Republic star wars novels as well as the Mass Effect novels, and this I must say is truly the best out of those that I have read, surpassing even the second Mass Effect novel, with an excellent written tale of the Old Republic, recovering from war, with the main characters lurking in the shadows, building their power and knowledge, all while preserving the ever-known 'rule of two', as the only pair of true sith left in the galaxy, they bide their time and gather their power, leading to a number of revelations, and with a fantastic ending that had me suprised at its audacity and laughing at the dark irony of it all.
Either way, the Rule of Two is a fantastic read in an expanding series of Star Wars novels, a magnificent sequel to the marvellous Path of Destruction and which now leaves me looking forward to the third book in this action-packed and beautifully designed series.
Loved It!

After the reading the first Darth Bane book I immediately had to buy this sequel. I sped through the pages finishing it in a day, I couldn't put it down. The author really makes you want the bad guy to win and triumph over good. I just hope Drew Karpyshyn releases a third book on this so far amazing Darth Bane series.
fantastic read

This was a fantastic book as always with Drew Karpyshyn. Leads on very well from the first book and is captivating. The one down is that it seemed to end more quickly than path of destruction but that could do with the fact i couldnt put it down :) recommended.
