Season 1 gave us lots to enjoy, and it made people come together to enjoy the most talked about new series.
For anyone who hasn't seen the show yet, heroes begins with ordinary people discovering they have great abilities, ranging from flight, mind reading, regeneration and time travel. The heroes then eventually come together to stop an impending doom that threatens to destroy new york city.
Series 2 is very much 'what do you do when the world has been saved?' we start off 4 months after the conclusion of season 1 and we see a new threat coming down on the heroes as well as some questions finally being answered from the season finale.
With only 11 episodes, this season is over very quickly, a lot of story was dragged out too much, the plot wasnt as strong as previous either. But the positives are the new villains that came up in this season (including adam monroe played by david anders) and also all the events that lead us to a chilling finale that gives you so much to look forward to in season 3, which currently is maybe the best season so far.
I recommend buy the first and second seasons of heroes, watch them through and then see season 3. You shall not be disappointed

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars "writers ruin heroes"

Even though it is not as a good as the first season. (No tv programme or film will ever be as good as its predecessor) its still a good series, the thing that ruined it was the writers strike, im sure if there were a few more episodes, a lot more things would have become clearer and made the series a lot better. I could give it a 5 stars, instead i gave it 4 stars due to the lack of episodes. Plus that cheerleader is fit.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars hmm- cost is to high

The season is amazing, up to season 1's standards, if lacking a half itself. But the price is twice what it should be, as season 1+2's prices are equal despite one being twice the other's price

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Nowhere near as good as season 1

Not only is this series ridiculously short and not fleshed out well but it does a LOT of stuff wrong. Almost every new character that is introduced is very irritating and for some strange reason a very good character is killed off. Also the main protagonist doesn't even have his powers in this series and the coolest Hero doesn't have his properly (or his memories mostly). Some of the characters that were good in the first series are also bad in this one.

The action is still very good and the overlying story is a good one so it isn't completely hopeless. But if you are looking for this to be good as season 1 then you will be sorely disappointed. I am giving this 3 because I love the show and the fact quite a few new baddies were introduced.

This is a brilliant buy for only £23. There is a Lot of extras which takes a sneaky peak into series 3. This is Way better than series 1.

Season 2 is a must have. It's alittle slow to get started and is cut very short by the writers strike but it's still worth the money. They have included a ton of extras that are worth a watch including a sneak peek at season 3 which looks interesting. Plus play's artcards are also pretty cool.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars slow burner

Brilliant! A far more intelligent show than the likes of LOST and the frankly stupid Prison Break, season two is a slow burner but in my opinion beats season 1 hands down - you must own this.

Well - I think the title explains it all! In my opinion, this is far better than the first season. Mind boggling stuff - every episode leaves you wanting more, you just have to watch another episode. Pity about only having 11 episodes but it's 11 episodes of heroes awesomeness!! Enough said
