The innovation keeps coming with our new Regza XV Series Full HD Ready LCD television, blending superb picture and audio quality, and delivering it in our slimmest, most stylish package to date. It has an On/Off switch; sounds obvious but you can now choose to turn off your TV completely, rather than leave it on stand-by for software and channel updates.
The 1920x1080p Full HD Ready panel is driven by our acclaimed Active Vision LCD picture processing technology and creates high definition images, full of vibrant colours, rendering scenes with an almost three dimensional depth of field. Exact Scan, pixel-for-pixel image mapping ensures you see all of the picture, all of the time, without cropping the image. Extraordinary dynamic contrast ratios combine with Luma Sens technology to automatically create perfect image contrast in any room lighting.
Stunning audio performance is guaranteed with SRS WOW technology delivering and expanded audio image. With a dedicated Game Mode; three HDMI connections; a component video input; REGZA Link CEC functionality and a built-in digital tuner, the XV series really is hard to beat.

Great TV but....

We are really loving this TV. The Virgin HD feed looks great, upscaled DVD's also look the business and while it was working, HDMI at 1080P from the PC was outstanding. Bluray looked awesome.
But then the TV decided that 800x600 was the max resolution it would accept through HDMI. Tried 4 PC's with varying cards and no luck.
Also, SD (standard definition) feeds look pretty rough if you are in a small room or close. But that's something all 1080p sets suffer with, so not a mark down for the Toshiba.
Awesome- Would recommend it!

If your looking for an option into the world of full 1080p HD at a budget price than this is the tv for you. I purchased mine when it first came out around May and i havent looked back. Dont be fooled into thinking that the low price means low quality because watching this tv is a delight. As a massive Man Utd fan i watched the celtic game and it was breath-taking even on freeview. Playing games is gr8 2, as the proud owner of a PSWii60 (PS3,XBOX 360,Wii) i needed something that would enhance my already high gaming appetite and this TV didnt let me down, Gears of war 2 on 360 looks amazing and Fifa 09 on PS3 looks even better thanks to the game mode and the 1:1 pixel mapping gr8 for online gaming. In conclusion, it took me just over a year to find a 32" LCD @1080p on uni student budget with gr8 quality and this Tv hasnt let me down. Believe me when i say this as a naturally picky person.......this tv is a steal @ this price get it NOW
