Good level of bass but they tend to die after about 250 hours of use. When you are forking out £18 a throw should be better really. The left ear loose connection this time, last time it was the right. The first time the earphone snapped off in my pocket which was probably my own fault really. Overall good level of sound, not bad but definately room for improvement.

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Good but don't last !!

Really strange reading the reviews.....I found these headphones brilliant until the sound faded in the right ear. The sound quality is spot on - just the right amount of base without being boomy.
Really pleased with them and recommended to friends. After about six months of use, the right ear went steadily quieter until it didn't work at all.....a real shame as they are a good product. I was going to get another pair until I found other reviews with exactly the same problem.....avoid if you don't want to keep buying them every few months !!

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Excellent sound - poor construction

Can't say much more than that really. I'm on my second pair of these in the last couple of years. The first pair were attacked by the cat, which will teach me not to leave things dangling down.

Having then ordered a second pair from play.com, I was most disappointed to note today that after a couple of months of usage, the wire of the left headphone has a break in it and is hanging on my a thread. Needless to say, I'm having to listen to things in mono until new headphones turn up.

I would have expected more from Sennheiser.
