Disapointment

Well, what can I say, i bought this game because I have been collecting Need For Speed games for the past 4 years, ever since Underground. When I saw the trailer, i thought it would be a great game, being different to the street racing, but it is not! The graphics are great and so is the damage taken to the car when you total it, but the game play gets the same over and over again, the race days just get boring and I have had to quit playing the game because of how incredibly slow the game is. Also, not all the tracks are real. Some of the features of the game are lame, such as the burnout at the start of a drag race. Not a good game in my view. On the plus side, the game has great graphics, the cars are great and so is the damage feature, but if you are a fan of the street racing Need For Speed scene, i don't recommend this game.
A nice change

The point of prostreet is a nice change from racing around a city dodging police cars and roadblocks etc. The race days idea is very good and brings a nice change to the NFS series.
There is a good variety of cars to buy and plenty of parts to upgrade the cars with along with the usual designing your car with stickers, vinyls and paint colours etc to your own liking.
Drag races can sometimes be a bit frustrating if you don't get a good start but then that's what practise is for. The drift races seem to be a lot smoother than previous incarnations which is a nice feature.
One of the best of its genre!

This game, despite all horrible reviews comparing it to the other need for speeds' is actually an amazing game. Incredible tuning and upgrading opportunities, graphics are great, realism is perfect and overall for £9 you are getting a very clear £40s worth of game.
Even if your in it for achievements, they throw them at you, along with a great game for just a little price, you'd be silly not to.
