Always wanted an NHL game but never got round to it, not an easy game to master and there are some confusing aspects to the season mode if you don't know too much about NHL, but overall its a fun game and great to play with mates.

I thought hockey was sad until i bought this for 4.99 its so easy and fun buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easy to pick up and the only American sport worth playing. NHL titles beat it with the skill stick controls. But this is for the pick up and play gamers.

NHL 2K8 is a fantastic game! I wasn't sure how good it would be when I ordered it but I am pleasantly suprised! Its essentially a really good arcady style game which is brilliant fun with a few beers and some mates! I highly recommend it if you fancy adding something new and a little different to your games collection.

Download the demo and try it for yourself but bare in mind that the demo isnt even half as good as the real thing! For £12.99 you can't go wrong!

The only problem I have found with it is the silly save/load system, you have to have a different save file for each aspect of the game but other than that its great!

i own this and NHL 08, i would not say that one of them is worse then the other ,NHL 2K8 is more arcadey and NHL 08 os more relistic, but for this pric you cant go wrong

Something about this just doesn't feel right - the skating feels loose and floaty, the character animation is poor, and the sound is a little strange. EA managed to get all of these things right, with better presentation and deeper gameplay, and it makes for a much better game.

It's not a terrible hockey game by any means, but it's impossible to justify buying this when EA's NHL 08 is so much better.

Good game, comical fights. Nice controls, dunno what the game reviewers are on about. I find it easy to control. Love it :D
