This is a great attempt at a true multimedia phone. Nokia almost perfected it.
Considering this phone came out nearly two years ago I would give phone a 8.5 out of 10. In this review I will cover the pros (including recommendations to help get the most out of this phone) and of course the cons. I bought this phone almost 2 years ago and have updated the firmware many times to unlock the full potential. I would recommend updating to the firmware to version 3. Be careful though whilst updating firmware and follow the instructions carefully and do not disconnect your phone we during an update as this than damage the phone. Can Sync with a PC, and send texts and back up messages using a PC via installation of Nokia PC Suite

Network assisted GPS. Install version 2.0 of Nokia Maps as it is much better than previous versions; GPS lock time is between 10 -30 seconds (£60 for a two year transferable licence for voice guidance, map updates are free when synced with your PC, a unlimited data plan with your tariff is recommended) and sat nav functions are quicker on this version.

Snooze alarm (snooze up to 6 times at 5 minute intervals)
Small details like the ability to silence a call whilst an incoming call is ringing
Desktop, calendar and to do list shortcuts

Superb inbuilt dual stereo speaker quality

3.5mm audio jack and video output jack (can be used for line out/headphones/connection to TV screen/ or to car stereo through cassette adaptor-for music or calls as microphone stays active)

3.5G and WiFi (up to 3.6 Mpbs).... Install Skyfire browser to allow browsing of full web pages with no crashing because the supplied Nokia browser crashed on RAM intensive pages (version 6 of the Skyfire beta test works best, only version 8 is available now)

***Cons***:
Made of cheapo looking plastic
Battery lasts for a mere day or even less if used intensively with camera, sat nav, music or internet (only way around it is having a charger at home, work and in the car)

***Improvements (if Nokia sees this give me a J O B)***:
The most essential improvement: a battery that lasts for at least 2-3days on full multimedia use without being the size of a brick. Have a look at Nano tube battery technology

If a phone had these features I would pay up to £1000 for it.

The phone is average to say the least. Has some good functions on it and some bad functions on it. The mp3 sound quality is good and the camera is superb for a mobile phone. The extra slide function for the media suite is really good as well. BUT the downsides are it has some issues with its battery cover, i have a few friends who have this phone and they have had to buy 2 or 3 replacement battery covers because they just simply break. Talking about the battery, the battery life is an abosolute disgrace, you will get around 1 hour and half battery life if you are constantly listening to music, or around 5 -6 hours if its just on stand-by. I have to charge the phone up every night, and then by around 1pm its bleeping for more battery power (all it has been doing is lying aroung in my pocket). The sat nav is a joke on this phone as well, it's too slow to keep up with where your going, and you have got to have a constant 3g connection, which differs from place to place.
