The Memory Stick Micro (M2) is designed to meet the growing storage needs of highly compact, multifunctional mobile phones. Exchange data with standard-size Memory Stick PRO compatible products by inserting the M2 into the supplied adapter. M2 is approximately one-quarter the size of Memory Stick PRO Duo media, and only about 1.2 mm thick. Because it's dual-voltage it can be used with both mobile phones (1.8 volts) and Memory Stick PRO compatible products operating at 3.3 volts.

I personally brought the 4gb but am going to buy this one 2 for my psp because the bigger adapter fits that too. Such a bargain for these! The 4gb works fine and doesnt make it slower in my sony ericsson k810i either.
