What a cracking debut album. Absolutely brilliant. If they can keep getting better then this is a great band for the future!!

This Cd amazed me. Even though their first single they released was a little repetitive (Thats not my name) and may seem a little childish at times. It really does grow on you and you find yourself singing along in no time! The album is pretty darn good! Yes it does have a couple strange songs, like traffic light and fruit machine, but the tune is very catchy, even if at first hearing, they make no sence! If you listen closely you come to realise what she is singing about!

She has very beautiful vocal techniques and sounds similar to Avril lavigne in a couple of their songs. The instrumental part, is really upbeat and "happy" I personally don;t listen to this sort of music, however I got this album for a birthday present and it's one of my most played albums!

If you enjoy songs that are happy, have attitude, similar to the style of avril lavigne, or just a spur of the moment buy, I would really recommend this album!

But its awesome. While every song does say the same line like 12 times, its so catchy, ace to dance to, must buy. Album tracks are defo better than "that's not my name".

The Ting Tings are a good band. They don't have the best voices in the world and their lyrics are repetitive, but you can't help but like the two of them. The brother and sister have 3 catchy songs that haven't got old yet. and weren't overplayed. 'That's Not My Name' builds up great. 'Shut Up And Let Me Go' is their most musical song on the album and is the old iTunes and iPod song on the adverts. 'Great DJ' is catchy and has terrible lyrics!
The Ting Tings are very catchy, But the lyrics are terrible on most of their songs. They are annoying at first but then the songs get stuck in your head and you can't help but jig along to them.

Recommended to all.

I love this album for two reasons.
Its reminds me when I was 12 years younger and Britpop/indie was at its height and bands like Sleeper,Konicki,Elastica,Republica et all ruled. Its nice to hear a female lead vocalist on a track that doesn't rely on short skirts to sell.Secondly its just good.
Don't agree..?Its MY money so nerrr!
