Was first lured to this artist after his superb performance on Jools Holland's new year gig. A good mixture of funky music. Reminded me of Prince and Jamiroquai in places. Black and Gold is by far the best track. This guy will go far. Look forward to his new album.

How disappointed was I??? Don't be fooled by thinking the songs are as sooperdooperfantastic as Black & Gold. For me there were 2 songs worth listening to - B&G, 21st Century Girl and that's it... What a weird, mix of music - I just didn't get it at all - if only they'd been as great as B&G now that would have made a brilliant album. Something just isn't right with this album - its neither one thing nor the other - his style changes with every song - just TOO weird for me.

This is a bloody brilliant Debut album from sam sparro. The album is very 80S Electric Pop based and its fantastic every song has something special of its own. This has got to be one of the best albums i have ever got. And as a surprise for my birthday i got tickets to see him!!!!
I Recommend this to everyone who enjoyed his debut of Black And Gold
