From the first series of Torchwood I was hoping on hope that a soundtrack would be released however now that it's finally here I have to say I am more than a little disappointed. With a TV show that boasts more than 38 minutes of new music per episode I am at a complete loss on why these tracks where selected? Yes, there is the odd flash of brilliance (Captain Jacks Theme, The Mission, Torchwood Main Theme) however what is left can only be described as just dull. I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang again last night and was just blown away by the score and yet listening to this soundtrack there is nothing of that episode on it? Come on BBC give us a Torchwood soundtrack with at least a hint of high tempo to it!!!
