This album is definitly the best album to be released in 2008. Chris and the lads have clearly worked hard on this project because they havnt put a foot wrong.
The opening song, even though it has no lyrics, is an upbeat track which is catchy (and is now also available on theProspekts march EP with lyrics).
The best songs on this album have to be; Life In Technicolor, Violet Hill, Lost!, Lovers in Japan & Viva La Vida.
One song that isnt as catchy is 'Yes'.
Overall, this album is amazing to listen to, and hopefully the next album (rumoured to be released in December 2009) has high expectations due to the reception this album has gained.
Fantastic album!

One of the best albums of 2008. Every track becomes an instant classic. Not a bad track on the whole album. Fantastic stuff! I went to see them live just before Christmas 2008 - amazing.
Great album, weakest of the four though

Coldplay are a consitant and great band. This is another great album that you can listen to again and again. Just dont raise your hopes too high, its not as strong as the other their others.
Its very different, they are trying to make the music more cleaver, but they seem to have lost a bit of the fun. Still its a great album, I would deffo recommend it to all of you.
good, but not their best by some margin

Some good songs, like 'cemeteries of london' and 'lost!', but after that it loses its way and its a very on/off affair. '42' is weak, 'lovers in Japan' makes amends and is great, but then the album loses it again as 'Reign of love' comes in. 'Yes' is very good, but is impossible to access easily with a cd player as its buried within 'Reign of Love'. 'Violet hill' is a weak single, but then the following 'Strawberry Hill' and 'Death and all his friends' are excellent.
Unlike 'A rush of blood to the head' (their best in my humble..), this album is not one that comes across as 'brilliant' as you have to skip songs if you want to hear consistant high quality Coldplay music.
Not surprised to hear Chris Martin speculating that they'll pack it in soon
Amazing Again!

Went to see them last night in Manchester. I honestly believe that Coldplay are one of the best bands ever! The best 2 hours of my life! I would suggest any Coldplay CD's to someone who is looking for great music.

I cannot stop listening to this album. Great Bass and some songs remind me of early U2.
Love it.

This was the first ever coldplay album i bought. I had heard viva la vida on the radio, and i thought i should buy this album. I were very pleasently surprised. If you've never had a coldplay cd, this one is great to get you into them. High points: Everything! Low points: Nothing! A truly great album.
ALL TRACKS LISTENABLE.
