this laptop seems great. I am interested in buying it. i just wanted to know from other peoplw who have bought the laptop, how good iz it, i mean like the graphics, the speed of da laptop, is it slow or is it fast & easy to use, also how are things like watching movies. i really do want to buy this laptop, so can someone please tel me what i need to know, will be much appreciated.

This laptop is without doubt the best I have seen for under £400. It oozes quality and superb graphics, bright sharp colours with a crystal clear 15.4" screen it truly is a masterpiece. Sony have excelled with this model and with a massive 200GB hard drive, nothing stands in its way when it comes to performance. Vista Home Premium works like a dream and the wireless lan picked up the signal from my router the instant I set up the programme. Nothing is skimped on this laptop, everything is exceptional quality and I have no hesitation in giving Sony 5stars for overall outstanding technological wizzardry!

do play laptops come with a warranty of any kind? i was just wondering as if mine broke before uni id be buggered

No it doesn't have an integrated camera. Look at other laptops within the same price bracket and you can see why this Sony is so popular. 2GB/200GB, all of the others on this site are generally 1GB/80GB or so.

Dont really know about specs on comps and i am really intrested in this one. Just want to ask some questions for people who have one.....does it have an intergrated camera, is it hd, is it fast with it being vista and is it really as good as everyone is saying????

Stylish and fast! Easy to use - plug and play, fab graphics and with vista premium a joy to use. This is my 8th laptop and I can honestly say one of the best so far. Extremely good value for money! Ive always been impressed with sony so knew i wouldnt be let down but even so was extremely happy with my purchase. Apart from being a lush laptop it is quick and easy to set up and use (i only got it today so am not aware of everything yet)
And to answer the question below i think this would be a good buy to go to university its cheap but is as stylish as the more expensive laptops i looked at.

Perfect for £399.99, fast internet and downloads, easy to set up and use. Answering the question below about battery life - the battery lasts for around 2ish hours, which is fine because i use it at home and plug it in the mains anyway...but it does go down pretty quickly if you were to use it whilst on the move with no mains supply.

So here i am writting about this wonderful laptop. For £399 i have to say that you cannot go wrong it's a good alround machine downfall is vista? Takes ages to load up like on most computers the layout of the keyboard is good. The keys are flat a bit like the apple laptops giving a good feel when pressing down on the keys. But i do admire sony for there good thinking of putting very loud speakers in it i had it on full blast and i did not hear any distorsion what so ever so well done there sony! The mouse pad i liked very much quiet large space to move your finger around and the touch pads left and right felt very solid good and large unlike some laptops that felt hard and as though they will break in time but i have to admire the quick set up of the wireless it took me 3 minuets to get it going it was simple and so easy a child in a nursery could do it. So if you is thinking of buying one of these i say go for it you wont be dissapointed..i certainly aint
